DVC Contract Summary Listing Screen
This is the Mouse Manager DVC Contract Summary Listing where you can see a listing of all of the Disney Vacation Club contracts summaries you have entered.
Mouse Manager uses a Contract Summary record to group together individual contract records, and allows you to manage your contracts on a year by year basis.
Another way of looking at it is that the Contract Summary is sort of like a bank statement, but not only reflects your points and points usage, it is also the place where you enter points banked, borrowed, tranferred, track booking and can maintain notes and information for the year.
The Contract Grouping “ties” together the contracts
Mouse Manager automatically groups together contracts based on the Resort Name and the use year
When you make bookings you take the points from a contract grouping
Points are managed based on the contract grouping
Examples:
Mouse Manager automatically groups together contracts based on the Resort Name and the use year, but you must create a Contract Summary record for a contract grouping and year
When you make bookings you take the points from a contract grouping
Points are managed based on the contract grouping
There can be only 1 contract summary for a contract grouping and use calendar year ... BUT... you can have multiple contract summaries
Here is what you can do on this screen:

Key Concept - Contract Grouping
The Contract Grouping “ties” together the contracts
Mouse Manager automatically groups together contracts based on the Resort Name and the use year
When you make bookings you take the points from a contract grouping
Points are managed based on the contract grouping
Examples:
- Example 1- Let’s say you have one home resort (Beach Club Villas for example) , and have 3 contracts for that resort. That equals 1 contract grouping
- Example 2- Let’s say you have two home resorts (Beach Club Villas and Vero Beach for example), and 2 contracts for each resort (2 for Beach Club Villas and 2 for Vero Beach). That equals 2 contract groupings
- Example 3- Let’s say you have one home resorts (Old Key West for example), but for some reason you have two different use years (perhaps you bought different resale contracts) and you have 2 contracts for an August use year and 2 contracts for a March use year. That equals 2 contract groupings.
Key Concept - Contract Summary
