Contract Summary Detail Screen - Preferences Tab
This is the Mouse Manager "Contract Summary" screen. This record "ties" together your individual contract records for a resort and use year. It is on this screen where you perform all of your routine points management functions.
You are looking at the "Preference" tab on the Contract Summary screen.
This tab provides a powerful feature for those DVC owners who own contracts at multiple resorts.
Some DVC owners have contracts an different resorts for the same Use Year, and would like to keep a running total of the combined points for all of their resorts.
For example, Mary Smith owns contracts at both Saratoga Springs and Beach Club Villas with a March Use Year. She has 200 points at Saratoga Springs and 150 points at the Beach Club Villas. When Mary is looking at the yearly summary for either Saratoga Springs, or the Beach Club Villas, she would like to know the combined points and combined available points without having to look at each summary and add them up.
Mouse Manager supports this. If you wish Mouse Manager to add up your points, please select a Use Year Start Date from the drop down field below. You should select whatever is the current Use Year Start Date. The next year, when you have created a new Yearly Summary, you will have to select a new date on the new summary record.
If you do not wish to have Mouse Manager total up the points, just leave this field blank.
PLEASE NOTE - For this total to work properly, your contract summaries must have the same Use Year. So, for example, you can maintain an accurate running total if all of your resort contracts have a March Use Year, this will not work if you have a March Use Year for one resort and say an August Use Year for another resort.
Mouse Manager was designed for maximum flexiblity to allow you to adapt it to your personal style and preferences.
