Resort Reservation Details - Points Booking
No more scraps of paper with notes!
This is Mouse Manager Resort Points Reservation Screen. It is accessed by clicking the "New" button on the Resort Booking Listing Screen.
When you click "New" you will be prompted to indicate whether you are making a points booking or a cash booking. If you select "Points" you will be presented with this screen.
Points Room Reservation Tab
On this screen you select the DVC resort you have booked, or a resort from the Disney Collection. You also indicate which contract group you wish to take points from, and you enter the check-in and check-out dates.
You can also enter a trip name, which will "tie" the resort booking record to the associated vacation plan record. This means that you can have multiple resort booking records that are "tied" to a vacation plan. This is very useful if you are booking multiple room types or are booking split stays at multiple resorts.
On this screen you select the room type and the number of rooms.
Mouse Manager will automatically calcualte the number of points for the booking.
The "Booking Status" controls whether or not points are deducted from your available points balance. Only the status of "Booked" will deduct points. The statuses of "Planned" does not deduct points, thereby allowing you to "play around" with the booking. The status of "Cancelled" returns points to your balance. Deleting the booking will also return points to your balance.
Points for Booking Tab
This tab will show you a day by day breakdown of the points for the booking.
Contracts Summary Tab
This is a "live" portal or window into the associated Contract Summary record and allows you to bank, borrow or transfer points. Entering data on this tab makes realtime updates to the related Contract Summary record
Notes & Comments Tab
This tab allows you to enter additional notes and comments related to this booking
All information entered, will also appear on the Mouse Manager resort reservation printout.
